During his career as an information technology professional, he was a board member/officer with Signstage and the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival and has consulted with many other area theaters on a volunteer basis. He formed Cypher Productions in 2006, and he has also acted in or directed dozens of professional productions in the Cleveland area.
