Qualifications

Mark Cipra has worked in virtually all areas of administration in over 40 years of theater experience.

That experience began with leadership roles in high school and college organizations (including a founding role in several still-extant theaters and education programs), and continued through a series of seminal positions at Playhouse Square Center and the Cleveland Play House.

During his career as an information technology professional, he was a board member/officer with Signstage and the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival and has consulted with many other area theaters on a volunteer basis.  He formed Cypher Productions in 2006, and he has also acted in or directed dozens of professional productions in the Cleveland area.
